Birthday Giveaway: Win an Erin Condren Planner!

Hey y’all! This little blog of mine started with an idea when I turned 30. I created a 30 in 30 list and while I didn’t complete all the items on the list, I’m so thankful that I started this blog. Through my blog I have been connected with dozens of thyroid cancer patients and am able to talk to them about the journey of cancer. While most tell me “thank you” for helping them, I get the most joy out of being able to share with them. Even though its been almost 4 years since my diagnosis, it is healing and comforting to know that others are with you in the fight.

Today, I turn 32 and instead of making a “32 in 32” list, I decided to do a giveaway of one of my favorite things… a planner. I know, I know I’m old school with a paper planner, but I just LOVE it! You can keep the planner for yourself or give it as a gift!

The planner I’m giving away has a permanent leather cover, lots of stickers to personalize the pages, a perpetual birthday calendar and a snap-in dry erase to do list. Y’all are going to LOVE it!

2017 will be the fourth year with my Erin Condren planners and before that I used the Lilly Pulitzer planner. Below are my planners over the years… I love to keep them and look back through them from time to time. The EC planners have enough space for me to make it a mini journal of sorts. I write things like “Lyla Rae’s 2 year old molar came in” or “Luke scored two points in his game”. That way I have notes for their photo albums if I ever get around to making them! Hah!

So, how do you win this lovely planner? Simply subscribe to Everyday Allie Rae,  follow me on instagram @mrsallisontamme and comment below to tell me your favorite Christmas tradition. You will get one entry for each and I will announce the winner on Monday!

  1. Hi Allie,
Happy Birthday to you!!! I love planners too, but I’m not on Instagram. I do however, want to thank you for all you do! My thyroidectomy surgery is in 3 days, and I’m a little nervous, but your blog has helped me begin to navigate through this new journey.

  2. My favorite Christmas tradition is to go out on the day after Christmas and get all of my Hallmark ornaments at half price ? I grew up doing this with my parents – we love the challenge of finding everything we “need”

  3. Mary Pendleton says:

My favorite Christmas tradition was started by my parents a few years ago when the four of us “kids” became adults. Instead of all of us spending a lot of money on gifts for our siblings and parents, we have a contest to see who can buy the best secondhand gift. These have to be purchased at Goodwill, The Salvation Army, a yard sale, etc. We keep our eyes peeled all year for good gifts and there’s even a trophy for the best one! It’s amazing what awesome gifts yoj can find if you look in the right places. We look forward to laughing and seeing what everyone has come up with each year.

  4. I love your blog and follow both places already! My favorite Chrsitmas tradition is setting up my Christmas village with my daughter. Every year we add to it and it has become a great mommy daughter bond. She is only 8 but I hope the tradition continues even when she has children of her own!

  5. I love making treats to give to my friends

  6. Hi Allie, Thanks for sharing your blog, I really enjoy reading along. My family is all based in Australia, where the Christmas traditions are centered around Summer and the Beach. Being in Denver its the polar (pardon the pun) opposite! So I like to incorporate a little bit of Australia into our Christmas Eve (Christmas Day in Australia) we Skype with our family in Sydney to open gifts together and then share a slice of toast with baked ham on it just like my Dad would make each year when I was growing up. It sounds a little silly but it suddenly doesn’t feel like they are an 18 hour plane ride away from us anymore. Have a blessed Christmas and thanks again for sharing on your blog! #my Instagram is @lifewithpiper

  7. Alexandra Stallard says:

We have lots of traditions that I love but I have the most fun with the Elf on the Shelf. ?

  8. Brittany Coontz says:

I subscribed and I already follow you on instagran. My favorite Christmas tradition is a tradition my dad started of getting my niece a nephew the gift they wanted more than anything. After dad passed away we continued on with their favorite gift from their guardian angel. We refer to it as their Poppy present! They know it’s been hand picked and heaven sent from their Poppy!

  9. Katie Hansen says:

My favorite holiday tradition is probably one that my mom started after she and my dad got divorced. She has given my sister and I a heart ornament on Christmas Eve every year since I was 8 years old. 22 years later, I have quite the collection on my tree and each one carries with it a memory of the year it was given to me. I will treasure them always.

  10. My favorite Christmas tradition is getting in our pjs with hot chocolate and going out to look at Christmas lights with my family!

  11. My favorite Christmas tradition is that before we open presents on Christmas Eve we take a moment to step back and remember what Christmas is all about by reading the story of Jesus birth. And for as long as I have been able to read, I have read it to my family!

  12. My favorite Christmas Tradition has to be family dinner in Kentucky. Nothing beats southern comfort food! My wife and I travel down from Ohio almost every year. It personally gives me a “recharge” with swapping memories of Christmas past and it brings the family closer together again if only for a few days. The Christmas Eve worship service is a must, keeps the heart and spirit humble and affirms the reason for the deason in my mind.

    Merry Christmas you all!

  13. Tara McMurphy says:

I love finding a special Christmas ornament for my children that has a special meaning for the year. Thanks for doing this give away 🙂

  15. Elizabeth Hatton says:

My favorite is Advent and the Jesse tree that we just started doing with our kids last year. I spent the entire month of November sewing ornaments for the tree last year and now our family has a really special keepsake! Love reminding our hearts of Christ’s deep love for us each year!

  27. Jessica Hansen says:

My favorite tradition is putting the ornaments on the tree! Every year “Santa” brings us all an ornament & that ornament has something to do with something we did or somewhere we went during the year… now while decorating the tree we reminisce about those moments! It’s the greatest! ?❤️

  28. Dana Brohaugh says:

    ???Happy Birthday!!???
Now that our kids are grown (college and older), our favorite Christmas tradition is what we call “Brohaugh Baking Night”. We chose one night during the holidays where we meet at our house to make about 4 or 5 of our favorite Christmas goodies to package up and give to our friends and neighbors for Christmas. Afterwards, we grab some hot chocolate and all pile in one car to look at Christmas lights. Doing traditions like this definitely keep the magic and excitement of Christmas alive, no matter how old your kids are!

  29. My favorite Christmas tradition is to make Christmas cookies to deliver to friends. It is something my Mom always did. I’m missing her so much this year as I bake.
