“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those that love him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9

Wow! What a promise. Think about all of the wonderful and beautiful things that you’ve experienced in your life and NONE of them can compare to what God has prepared for us. Isn’t that amazing? This verse is a little long for Luke to memorize, so I think we will shorten it a bit for him.

Speaking of Luke, he helped me deliver the Derby Pies that I blogged about yesterday. He was a great helper at first and was adamant that he didn’t need any help pulling the wagon full of pies. Can you spot his little friend tagging along? His stuffed horse is a beloved member of our family that he received as a gift from Keeneland. He named him BossCat and he goes *everywhere* with us.

By the time we delivered the 7th pie, he decided that there was plenty of room in the wagon for himself too and that I should pull him for the rest of the deliveries.

While I’m a little behind on completing my 30 in 30 list, I did get to cross #18 off yesterday. And interestingly, the #18 horse, American Pharoah, won the Derby!

Just curious, how did your neighbors react to you delivering a piece of the Bluegrass?
    What a sweet idea.
